A Beautiful Baptism for a Beautiful Boy

Jackson was baptized yesterday morning! Here is a picture of the pastor putting water on his head, which he briefly woke up for. And the best part of it was that he didn't cry at all!!! I was so nervous for him and his reaction to it but it couldn't have went any better. Afterward, we celebrated at my dads house (still waiting for pictures Lori) with family and friends. Everyone came and it was a huge success! Jackson kept fighting a nap because he was so excited to party all day. He definately made up for it last night by sleeping all night. Thanks to everyone for being there for him yesterday. It really meant a lot to Jimmy and I that you were there to celebrate in such a special day in Jackson's life:)
Brad and I posing for a picture with Jackson right before he had to leave to go back to Denver:(

Awwwwww, he was so calm for being woken up.

Does anyone else think he looks like Brad in this picture?!?!?! So crazy how that happes. This was during the service before he was baptized. He was awake at first but eventually got some zzzzzzz.

Random pics...

Yea! We were so excited to be out for a few drinks together for the first time since last summer:)
Amy, Lori and I at Amy and Gunars and Amy's engagement party. It was the most fun I have had out in a looooong time. What a great party!

So chunky!

Jackson slept on Amy for almost two hours the other day. They both were lving every second of it!

This was such a cute moment between my dad and Jackson. They were talking about how comfortable crocks are. As you can see, they were really into their conversation. Aren't the crocks SOOOOO adorable:)

Some More Partying...

Jackson checking out the scene with Papa and Nanni at his first Jackhammers game.
Jennifer, Baby Sarah, Aunt Pat, and Jackson at Sarahs baptism. The two new babies in the Boldrey family meet for the first time.

The whole point of this picture was to show Jimmy and Jackson dressed up alike but he wasn't wanting to look at the camera. Who knows what was distracting him this time?!?!?!?!

I don't know how to flip this:( Just me showing off my little big guy dressed up for the occasion.

Just a smile to brighten your day:)

We went to the doctor today for a 2 month check-up (he will actually be 8 weeks tomorrow!) and Jackson had to get 3 shots. I had a feeling he wouldn't like them because most babies don't. Not only did he scream, but I was crying. It was so hard to watch him in pain! We both need to work on toughening up in that department. He is now 12 lbs. 4 oz., as you can probably see from his rolls he has developed all over his body in the picture above!!! So far, we have been lucky that his appetite has been so good. He is still sleeping good at night and eating every chance he gets. Not much else to update, kind of a boring week...We have a pretty busy weekend so I'm sure that we will get some good pictures to share.

My First Mother's Day

Do I look like I'm 11 1/2 lbs???
Enough kisses already!

Do you like my pants???

Mother's Day with Nanni, Donte, Kayleen, and Shannon

My nap today in my boppy.

Last weekend was my first Mother's Day as a mommy! It does feel different as a mommy on Mother's Day. I didn't expect for it to feel as warm and fuzzy as it did. Jackson got me a card, Marley and Me (the movie) and he even framed some pictures. How thoughtful of him! We spent the day with pur familes and of course ate a lot of food. Needless to say, my first Mother's Day was a huge success. Yesterday I brought Jackson to the doctor because he has had a rash on his face that spread to his chest and the back of his head. I thought it was baby achne at first but it spread and got worse. The doctor said that it's just horomones passed down from me that will pass in time. No meds or ointments needed!!! The highlight of the appoinment was his weight, he is 11 lbs. 7 oz. already! Being that he was only 6 lbs. 2 oz. when born, he has done a great job gaining weight. I still can't believe he's that big. Here are some pictures from the weekend and the last few days to show you how big he is getting, enjoy:)

We went to Nanni and Papas (Jimmys parents) house this weekend and spent the afternoon in the sun! Auntie Erin and Dan stopped by and brought Jackson a sun hat that was perfect for the occasion. You can't tell in the picture but Jackson is also sporting a Cubs outfit. Obviously Jimmy dressed him:) Jackson has been smiling and making new little sounds more everyday. His nights are better and he is sleeping about 5 hours a night. A few nights ago he slept for 7 hours!!! I was so excited for him (and for me) to sleep that long. This Friday he will be 6 weeks old........I can't believe its already been that long!

Poor little guy

He would obviously rather look at me:)

Awwwww

My two men!

Bath Time...

Jackson had another bath tonight and he is still loving them. He just sits there and lets me sponge him down. Of course the second I take him out the crying starts because he obviously HATES being cold. Once his bath towel/robe is wrapped around him he is perfectly content with life again:)
Did I mention that he peed on me while in the bath tub too? I would recommend to always keep the waist and below in the tub until he is ready to dry off. You live and you learn...the joys of having a boy!

Now if these aren't some chunky cheeks, I don't know what is!!! If you look closely you can see his beadhead that he is known for after each nap, sooooo cute. Also, last night was his 2nd night in his crib. Both nights went very well. Last night he was up a little earlier than usual but I ca't ask for afull 8 hours yet, haha! Were excited when he sleeps more than 4 hours :)

Jackson was so excited to pose with his manly dinosaur outfit this last weekend. This is one of my favorite oufits so far. He sported it for our Sunday breakfast at Cracker Barrel and ordered a 4 oz. bottle with a spit rag on the side:)

Awwwww at least I'm not the only one who thinks he is edible.
